Hello everyone, hope you are doing great still waiting for spring hmmmmm still waiting loll anyway as we are waiting just enjoy this tips.
1. Cleanser
Make sure you cleanse properly in the morning to keep
your skin looking fresh and clear. You can do this really quickly in
the shower using a washable cleanser that will even remove eye make-up.
2. Tinted Moisturiser
Use a tinted moisturiser as an easy alternative to foundation.
Depending on which brand you choose, you'll get slightly different
coverage: some are quite sheer while others give good coverage. If you have dry skin
you'll need a moisturiser under your tinted moisturiser for extra
hydration.
3. Concealer
Don't forget concealer, one of my
can't-live-without products. If you don't want to wear a base, just use
a concealer pen under your eyes and to cover any imperfections make sure you choose a
colour that matches your skin tone. If you want to use the concealer
pen just under the eyes, choose a colour slightly lighter than your
skin tone.
4. Face Powder
Invest in a good face powder to sweep onto your T-zone to remove shine throughout the day. I really like MAC Mineralize Skinfinish/Natural - it has a lovely natural matte finish and its light coverage makes it perfect for touch ups throughout the day.
5. Blusher
Blusher is perfect for perking up your
complexion. Cream and gel blushers are great for natural-looking
colour and really quick and easy to apply. I like Bloom Sheer Colour Cream, MAC Cream Blusher and Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge.
Just apply two or three dots on the apples of your cheeks and blend
upwards and outwards. Choose a powder one if you don't feel confident
using a cream or gel - powders are also better in summer, when your
skin will produce more oil. If your skin is oily generally then always
go with a powder blusher.
6. Eyeshadow
If you don't have much time to apply eye make-up, just apply a couple of coats of black mascara or brush one colour of eyeshadow all over the eyelid. Either go for a neutral colour to brighten up the eye, such as Bobbi Brown Bone, MAC Vanilla or Clinique Seashell, or a taupe shade such as Laura Mercier Eye Basic in Flax or MAC Wedge.
7. Eyeliner
Use an eyeliner to give your eyes definition - this is also a quick way to add a bit of colour to your eyes by using a coloured eye liner. Clinique Quickliner for Eyes
is great as the kohl is really soft so doesn't drag around your eyes.
It comes with a smudge tip on one end so you can 'smoke' the line to
soften it a bit. Try a purple kohl to really make blue eyes pop,
bronze for green eyes and pewter for brown eyes. MAC also do a huge
range of coloured eye kohls.
8. Illuminating Fluid
If your skin is looking a bit tired, use an illuminating
fluid after your moisturiser or mix it in with your moisturiser to
give your skin a fresh dewy glow. MAC Strobe Cream is perfect: either use all over the face or apply just to your brow bone and the top of your cheekbone.
9. Lipstick
Add a bit of colour to your lips to brighten up your
face, use a sheer lipstick, tinted lip balm or tinted lip gloss. Vaseline do a rose-tinted lip balm which is
brilliant value and MAC do tinted Lip Gelees, which give the appearance of a gloss but without the sticky texture.
