One of the prettiest fashion trends for Spring/Summer 2013 is a block of neon colours that can be used to brighten up your wardrobe - whether you want to add a fresh accent to your monochrome pieces, or even introduce a new  colour into your work or casual wardrobe.

Whether you opt for accessories or neon clothes, statement tones are a great way to freshen up your look for summer.

 

 

 

And while it's easy to associate "neon" with extremely bold and bright shades, the effects here are definitely softer than you might expect. Sheer neons, or knits with subtle neon accents, or dresses with only one bold neon accent - we have a real variety to choose from this season.

If you work in an office, keep the neon to a minimum - a new neon tank will look great underneath a tailored jacket, or how a casual neon-print soft knit paired with elegant trousers? If you are already enjoying the monochrome trend, a muted neon cardigan or boucle jacket with neon trim will add depth (and a new look) to those existing pieces.
