Hat Trick

'By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts and by it he being dead yet speaketh Heb: 11:4'

Hello lovelies, how are y'all doing? I bet you are doing great. How was your weekend? Sorry for the late post was so busy especially with school runs cos Sienna has started pre-school its been a bit challenging but we are getting there lol. Am so happy she is out of the house for some hours at least I can have some needed rest that is if Sachi would allow me too lol. Sachi seems to be the quiet one but I think Sienna has rubbed off her extrovert anointing on her hahaha.

Yes I know some of us have celebrities who we love infact who are our favourite, when there is a movie premiere in your town and you find out your favourite actor or actress is on that film you would want to go and just take a peek at them especially when they walk on the red carpet sometimes you even go early so that you can stand on the front row probably call out to them to take pictures with you or sign an autograph sometimes we just wanna touch them and when you do you get all excited lol, I know that feeling but guess what they are humans just as you and after you touch them it doesnt really change your life does it? But when you touch God I can guarantee you that your whole life will be affected and you wont remain the same.

We are used to God touching us, we pray for the touch of God now lets do it the other way round how about we touch God so that He can in turn move in our lives, remember the woman with the issue of blood she didnt wait for Jesus to touch her, she did the touching and she was made whole, she left her comfort zone, she pressed, she pushed and she got what she wanted. If we want God to change our lives then lets leave our comfort zone, lets press on lets push to touch God and as we do God would do abundantly much more than we ask or think in our lives.

See you are the top dearies.

Now to my outfit, bought this dress last year I didnt know it would still accomodate my growing baby bump but it did and oh I havent started wearing any maternity clothes yet still wearing my normal size 10 clothes and it fits perfectly. I just wanted something different that was why I added the hat.

Hope you love the pics. Let me know your thoughts.

How To Choose The Perfect Lipstick

'And he said, Herken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalen, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God's. 2Chronicles 20:15'

How to choose the perfect lipstick cut up and melted lipsticks makeup beauty allaboutyou.com

Everyone's got them. Hidden away in make up bags and bathroom cupboards across the country are lipsticks that seemed to be just what we were looking for – the everyday nude, a great red, a vibrant summery pink – and they were, for a day or a week until we noticed they weren't exactly right, that they didn't really suit us. Is there a way to avoid making expensive mistakes with lipsticks?

Choosing a colour
Makeup artist Bobbi Brown's tip for choosing a lipstick that will work for you is to look for a colour that is like your own natural colour, but to take it up a notch. So if your lips are pale, your  lipstick colour could be beige, sandy or pale pink. A medium lip tone needs browns and roses, while dark lips can wear raisin. If you are very dark and have purple or dark brown lips, go for chocolate and blackberry colours. For evening, take your daytime colour to a richer intensity. If you chose a berry lip gloss during the day for example, a satiny burgundy would look more dramatic at night.

Beware your skin tone!
Another factor that can make your lipstick look right or all wrong is your skin tone. It jars to see an English Rose wearing orangey-brown lipstick, just as a mauvey pink kills olive skin.
Everyone's skin tone (rather than their skin colour) tends to have a warmth or coolness to it. Warm skin will have yellow undertones and maybe some orangey red. Cool skin has red undertones, tending to the pink.
Typically someone very fair or with high colouring is a cool skin tone, though you can have a medium skin and be cool. Equally, very black skin with a blueish undertone is cool. Likewise fair skin can be warm as well as the more obviously warm olive, Asian and lighter black skins.

Determine your tone type
If you're not sure whether you are predominantly warm or cool, try these tips:
1. Which suits you better, gold or silver jewellery? Whichever lights up your complexion best reveals whether you have warm or cool skin tones. Gold looks great on warm skin, while silver enhances cool skin.
2. According to makeup artist Lisa Eldridge, the inside of your arm can be revealing. If the skin is pale and your veins look bright blue, you're a cool skin tone. In warmer skin veins are less obvious.

What to do next Once you've discovered your skin tone, apply that lipstick. Broadly speaking, warmer shades of lipstick or those with yellow and orange undertones will suit a warm skin tone – think cappuccino, caramel, certain browns with hints of gold and bronze. For cool skin, good choices will be in the bluey pink spectrum, light pinky reds and blue-toned reds and classic beiges with pink undertones.

Test before you buy
When testing a new lipstick try it on your lips if you can to see its true colour and how it looks on your skin (use a cotton bud). Alternatively try it on the pads of your fingertips rather than the side of your hand, as they are a little closer to lip colour. This will also show you the texture of the lipstick – whether it's very sheer, totally matte, shimmery and so on. As a general rule, a matte finish tends to make lips look thinner and it can be ageing, while shimmery shades and glosses make lips look fuller.

Enjoy your day beauties.

Style Icon Of The Month: Monica of Awed by Monica

:'He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good; and whoso trusteth in the Lord happy is he Proverbs 16:20'

When I discovered this beautiful blogger I was really awed not just by her exquisite outfits but by the aura of uniqueness around her and how she brings to light whatever she wears. Hello lovely people, how are you all doing? Hope you week is going great? Thanks be to God who has made us see this day and I believe He will make us see the rest of this week, month and the remaining months of this year in Jesus name.

Monica is our Style Icon of the Month and you will agree with me that she is stylish, fashionable, chic, elegant and gorgeous.  She is a lovely wife and a wonderful mother to her kids. She is an inspiration to me and I always look forward to see what she has put together each day. This is her blog address please follow her and you would be glad you did: www.awedbymonica.blogspot.co.uk.

Below is a summary of who she is:

'I am a Canadian Nigerian living in Atlanta. I have been married for almost 8years with two kids, an 11month old and a 3 and a half year old. I have a double major degree in sociology and mass communication. I also studied the business of fashion. I consider myself what I like to call a 'Fashion Person'. I love making fashion trends mine. I guess you can also say that is my style. To me fashion is like art, it is left to your own interpretation. Hence I am always trying to switch things up and never have on an outfit that is overly predictable.
Dislikes for me is are, people who don't love the skin there in. I think you can look amazing regardless of your size as long as you pick the right pieces'.

Have a beautiful week dearies

My Lil Peplum Dress

'These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace in the world ye shall have tribulation but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world John 16:33'

Happy Sunday my darlings, how was your week? Did you go shopping, bowling, sun bathing lol, cos the weather is really really hot here, sometimes I wish I could jump into a swimming pool even though I dont know how to swim *covers face* yes I said it I dont know how to swim lol well I am allergic to water hahahaha  anyway I hope you had fun.

During the week Sienna and I went to a friend's graduation ceremony and we took the train from London to Colchester my baby was so happy cos that was her first time on a train, she enjoyed every bit she kept saying hi to everybody lol.

There is this song I love very much, sang by Mary Mary titled 'Can't Give Up Now' and each time I listen to it I encourage myself and I also say no matter what life throws at me I will overcome, Christ didnt promise we won't have troubles or trials but He did promise He would be there and He said 'Cheer up cos I have overcome'.  So my beautiful people cheer up cos you are a winner already, no matter what you are going through, you have overcome already Praise God. So rise up, chin up, lift up your eyes and take dominion.

I have been looking for an orange blazer like forever especially one I could afford lol, and finally I got an email notification that Mango sales was on, I decided to check to see if I could buy something from them oh I had a big grin on my face and I think I actually shouted 'yes, yes' cos I was actually looking at an orange blazer and also in my size, I didnt even blink twice I just purchased it and oh my when it finally came I fell in love lol. And other lovely shoes to pair it with than my own white Zara ankle strap sandals. Hope you enjoy the pics beauties.
